We have now finished up with unit one. We have began working on unit 6, Algebra.
The outcome we are currently working on is:
PR2: Model and solve problems using the linear equations of the form:
ax = b
x/a = b, a does not equal zero
ax + b = c
x/a + b = c, a does not equal zero
a(x + b) = c
concretely, pictorially and symbolically, where a, b, and c are integers.
I offer math help on Tuesday's, Wednesday's and Friday's during activity. Also, most days at lunch or in the morning, please just check with me first.
Homework: You math project is due Tuesday June 10th. Although we will have time to work on it in class, it is beneficial to begin working at home. Please use Walmart.ca for your site to do your shopping. Happy shopping :)
